Development and support of the applications for the investment bank
The project is responsible for development and supports ~15 applications. Main idea of application is to provide for clients an interactive self-service solution to see their real time status of top day trades, perform allocations and to perform position management. This helps in reducing the effort on corresponding region's operational load in order to perform trade and position management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and resolve Production Incidents, Service Requests, Request for Change, Requests for Information;
• Environment configuration and releases performing under development team instructions;
• Client onboarding;
• Root cause analysis and remediation steps planning;
• Communication with Customer;
• Communication with SL2 team, provision of runbook updates;
• Work in the team with 24*7 availability (at desk and on call)
• Skills Required:
• Knowledge of scripting, bash/shell/perl - to use on remote consoles unix/solaris-based;
• SQL knowledge;
• Experience in some development language (java/.Net is preferrable);
• Good verbal and written English.
Possibility:
• to analyze the issues quickly, under a time pressure mode;
• to learn finance domain areas;
• to investigate new applications and system of Global Investment Bank and 3rd party systems. |
